SAR is designed to search and rescues operations and it features the Maritime Surveillance System installed onboard. The system is EASA certified only, not FAA certified.
The system is designed for detection of surface objects at the distance of up to 220 km from the airplane, recording and storing of information and parameters of tracked targets.
This version might be used in numerous missions:
- Border surveillance (illegal immigrants, drugs trade, smuggling, etc.)
- Protection of customs and fishery territories
- Protection of the country’s economic territory
- Environmental protection services (GOV or NGOV entities that research / monitor environment, detection of oil slicks contamination)
- Relief missions after natural disasters.
