Students from Dębica Wins Lockheed Martin CyberQuest Challenge in Poland

Students from Dębica have been crowned CyberQuest champions of Poland.

Mielec, March 6 2023 – Students from Dębica have been crowned CyberQuest champions of Poland following a three hour cyber security based competition involving teams from Leżajsk, Rzeszów, Kolbuszowa, Dębica, Mielec and Tarnów, hosted by PZL Mielec, a Lockheed Martin company, last weekend.
CyberQuest is an annual competition, in which teams of high school students from around the world collaborate to solve cyber security problems created by Lockheed Martin cybersecurity engineers.

This year, teams from Australia, Poland the UK and U.S tackled challenges including multi-step intrusion, steganography, reverse engineering, and web exploits, among others.

As a global technology leader Lockheed Martin has around 60,000 engineers, scientists and IT professionals. We’re committed to working with these groups to develop activities such CyberQuest that will educate and inspire tomorrow’s scientists, engineers and mathematicians.

We’re proud to play a part in stimulating the minds of young Polish students and helping them achieve their ambitions through projects like CyberQuest.”
